This automobile is unquestionably one of the most significant examples of the American craftsmanship of Pierce-Arrow and LeBaron.
The major portion of the restoration was completed by the well know restorer of
Pierce-Arrows, Eric Rosenau. The leather interior and convertible top was completed by the internationally renowned Ken Nemanic of Vintage Automotive Upholstery. The final stages of the concours restoration and preparation for the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance were completed by Bob Jacobsen, Rich Lange and Curtis Parisi of the Northern California Pierce-Arrow Society. They worked tirelessly and contributed enormously to making sure that this unique automobile was presented in the most historically accurate and pristine manner possible at the 58th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Pierce-Arrow enthusiasts around the country contributed immeasurably to insuring the authenticity of this unique automobile.
This magnificent classic was awarded “First in Class” in the American Classic Open class at the 58th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 17, 2008.
